Concerts for Conservation

Uniting music, nature, and conservation through immersive performance.

Concertvation was born from a simple but profound truth: the earth sings and we must learn to listen.

Founded by Amanda Laborete, a classically trained cellist and environmental advocate, Concertvation is an evolving platform where music, science, and conservation meet. Our goal is to create interdisciplinary performances that are immersive, educational, and move people to care.

At a time when species are disappearing and ecosystems are under threat, we ask:
What if a concert could echo into forests, oceans, and skies?
What if melodies could be shaped by ecological data such as animal calls, habitat loss, shifting climate patterns and transformed into something that touches the heart as deeply as it informs the mind?

Inspired by the words of Dr. Jane Goodall, "Only if we understand, will we care. Only if we care, will we help. Only if we help, shall all be saved," Concertvation aims to bridge the gap between data and emotion. We believe that music can translate complex truths into a shared language of urgency, beauty, and empathy.

Our vision is to collaborate with scientists, musicians and composers to create immersive concerts that translate the pulse of the planet into sound. We envision experiences that blend performance with conversations led by scientists and naturalists, and whenever possible, interactive elements like nature walks or guided ecological explorations

Through each performance, we raise funds for conservation work, but just as importantly, we create space for awe and reconnection. In that space, we hope to plant the seed of deeper care.

We know music alone won’t solve the climate crisis.
But it can open hearts. And maybe, that’s where the change begins.
